As if women are not pressured enough to be skinny...now we have to worry about being called a whale. I'm not sure if this is to pursuade larger women to go vegan. I would think it would make them go anorexic. Ridiculous

This is probably one of the worst ads I've seen. It tries to make a body type something humorous when it could potentially do real damage. I think that they could have done something much more tasteful to get their point across.
ReplyDeleteBeing a big girl myself, it's ads like these that just KILL my self-esteem. I hate ads like this. They are extremely offensive. I agree, @Carolyn; completely damaging. And yes, @Shelby...RIDICULOUS!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the worst ads I've seen. This ad can be very offensive to a lot of people. It can hurt some overweight young women and girls.
ReplyDeleteI have grow up in a house with all girls, and I have seen the pressure the society these days put on girls to look their best. The pressure that girls live with day to day trying to improve their own body to please not only themseleves, yet the entire society putting the pressure on by seducing adds should be cut back intensely.
